Our responsibility goes beyond providing cash donations to those organizations making a difference in our communities. We have a strong passion for volunteerism. Many of our executives volunteer on boards for nonprofit organizations. In addition to individual employee volunteer activities, employee groups also participate in days of caring initiatives at local nonprofits, and several times a year, our employees team together to run drives on our campus; they collect food, clothes, toys, or gifts for those in need.

Volunteering at Mercer Street Friends

Volunteering

"We volunteered at the Mercer Street Friends Day Care Center to paint and clean the main classroom. Through this event, we were able to bond with one another on a personal level outside of the office setting. Simultaneously, we created a brighter, cleaner, and safer environment for local children at their day care center. We felt a genuine sense of accomplishment through the appreciation exhibited by the counselors at Mercer Street Friends for a morning filled with laughter and collaboration!" - Adriana Fajardo, Senior Analyst, Samples Compliance

Volunteering at CYO Mercer County Catholic Youth Organization

Volunteering

"It is better to give than to receive' captures the sentiments of the volunteers from Business Operations who shared their time and 'muscle' by participating in an Afternoon of Caring United Way Team Building Event May 1st at the CYO Mercer County CYO Day Camp. It was a great opportunity for us to get together as a group and work on a project that will allow youngsters in the Mercer County area to enjoy the benefits of attending day camp this summer ~ swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and more! We broke into teams for the service project and rolled up our sleeves to pitch tents, power wash the bathhouse, clean up the grounds, plant flowers, spread stone, sand and wood chips and paint picnic tables. The weather cooperated and we all had a fun afternoon giving back to the community!" - Barry J. Cohen, Sr. Director, Business Operations

Volunteering at Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity

Volunteering

"The Worldwide Commercial Pharma IT Organization participates in several Habitat for Humanity work days throughout the year. The work days consist of landscaping, roofing and various other activities. The experience allows members of the organization to give back to the communities in which we live, learn about the Habitat organization, team build, and have fun. It is a thrill to look at the work site at the end of the day, see what we have accomplished and know that we are helping families realize a dream." - Felicia D'Oria, IT Manager, WWCPIT
